UTPA to Open WAC Tournament vs. Utah Valley

EDINBURG – The Western Athletic Conference (WAC) announced on Sunday that the sixth-seeded University of Texas-Pan American (UTPA) Broncs women’s soccer team will open the WAC Tournament against the third-seeded Utah Valley University Wolverines on Thursday at 9:30 p.m. at Championship Field on the campus of Seattle University.
Should the Broncs win, they will advance to play second-seeded Kansas City in the semifinals on Friday at 9:30 p.m.
The championship match is set for Sunday at 3 p.m. against one of defending WAC Tournament Champion and top-seeded Seattle U, fourth-seeded Bakersfield and fifth-seeded New Mexico State.
The WAC Tournament champion will earn an automatic bid into the NCAA Tournament.
