TDS Men’s Division I Top 25: Sept. 30
There is a new No. 1 team in the TopDrawerSoccer Men’s Division I Top 25. Virginia takes over the top spot in the rankings. The Cavaliers improved to 8-0 on the season last week with wins over Western Michigan and Notre Dame. Virginia continues the grind this week with games against George Washington and No. 11 Louisville.
SMU (8-0) jumps up to No. 2 in the TopDrawerSoccer Men’s Division I College Soccer Top 25. The perfect Mustangs have only conceded three goals this season, but the schedule is about to get fairly difficult. SMU’s next three games are all against teams that rank in the Top 40 in the RPI.
Stanford (7-0-1) slips down to No. 3 in the TopDrawerSoccer Men’s Division I Top 25 this week. The Cardinal battled to a wild 3-3 draw against No. 18 UC Santa Barbara (6-2-1) on Saturday. Stanford continues conference play this week with a game against No. 13 Washington (7-1).
