Men’s Division I Top 25: Oct. 20
It was another wild weekend in men’s Division I soccer as only two teams from week eight of the TDS men’s Top managed to avoid defeat over the past week. UC Irvine snuck past local rival Cal State Fullerton and Creighton survived with a 1-1 draw against Xavier.
The Jays move up to No. 1 this week after all the shake up. UC Irvine jumped into the second spot. Washington dropped it’s Pac-12 contest against UCLA on Thursday, but responded with a win over San Diego State on Sunday to hold onto the top spot in the conference. The Huskies check in at No. 3 in the TDS Top 25.
Indiana and Syrcause round out the top five in this week’s Top 25. Outside of the top five, Providence made the biggest jump. The Rhode Island program enjoyed a stellar week, which included a 2-0 win over Georgetown. Providence sits at No. 15 in the week nine Top 25.
