1. Penn State

Commitments: F Amelia White (Fort Wayne United FC – No. 2), GK Mackenzie Gress (STA – No. 21), F Alivia Uribe (Eastside FC – No. 31), M Luciana Latino (PDA – No. 43), D Molly Martin (FC Stars of Massachusetts – No. 115), M Ava Minnier (Penn Fusion – No. 157), M Olivia Borgen (South Select SC – No. 176)

Transfers: F Penelope Hocking (USC), D Cassandra Hiatt (Texas Tech), F Olivia Smith (Florida State)

The massive transfer addition of Hocking helps vault an already good Penn State class to the No. 1 spot. Smith, who signed with Florida State and was a spring enrollee, also was confirmed as a transfer this week. The Canadian has potential to be a huge star in college soccer, according to those that know her game well.

2. UCLA

Commitments: D Kathryn Kelly (Bay Area Surf – No. 7), GK Neeku Purcell (Reign Academy – No. 8), M Ellie Walbruch (Real Colorado – No. 16), M Sofia Cook (So Cal Blues – No. 19), M Peyton Marcisz (Bay Area Surf – No. 20), F America Frias (Bay Area Surf – No. 22), M Ally Lemos (Legends FC – No. 24), F Julia Saunicheva (Bay Area Surf – No. 33), D Cori James (Lonestar SC – No. 63), F Bridgette Marin-Valencia (PSV Union – No. 128)

Transfers: F Ally Cook (Oregon), D Maya Evans (California)

UCLA still has an excellent class heading to Westwood. That should help the new Bruin coaching staff keep pace with Stanford in the Pac-12 and remain a competitive force nationally. Cook and Evans add Pac-12 experience to the talented roster.

3. Stanford

Commitments: D Elise Evans (Bay Area Surf – No. 1), F Allison Montoya (MVLA – No. 3), D Jasmine Aikey (MVLA – No. 6), F Lumi Kostmayer (NYSC – No. 15), M Freya Spiekerkoetter (MVLA – No. 29), F Amalie Pianim (MVLA – No. 65), F Logan Smith (Boise Thorns)

A remarkable class that has four players from the excellent MVLA 04 squad is the foundation for Stanford’s incoming group. Evans, Montoya and Aikey all look like contenders to start right away.
